Businesses of all sizes are taking advantage of how project management can help their company stay competitive and grow. Incidentally, online project management software has become more accessible and affordable today with cloud technology and software-as-a-service. PM tools like Asana and Trello provide companies a centralized platform for managing tasks, tracking projects, and generating reports.

Asana is a popular project tracking application for teams. Now packaged as an enterprise work management platform, it is attracting larger companies and Enterprise users. Features such as Timeline, Portfolio, Milestones and Workload are available only to paying customers. Trello, now part of Atlassian, is also releasing advanced features only available in its Business Class and Enterprise plans. As a result, many users looking for solutions are hard pressed to spend more. A simple solution to enjoy more features from your existing software is to try Bridge24.

Bridge24 Powerful Views, Easy Exports

Bridge24 seamlessly integrates with Asana and Trello. All you need is your modern browser to access it. After registering and giving Bridge24 permission to connect to Asana or Trello, you can now have an enhanced experience in viewing, tracking, managing, reporting and exporting your project information. The application syncs 2-ways with Asana or Trello, so any work item you update in Bridge24 gets also updated in your primary PM tool.

Bridge24 offers a variety of views such as the Power Grid, Calendar, and Kanban board to provide you flexible ways to see your tasks across all your projects. You can interact and manipulate project information from a new perspective. Switch from one view to another with one click. Easily add or modify task information or add comments and attachments. Moreover, export your project information easily in several formats.

Bridge24 Interactive Charts and Advanced Reports

Teams using Asana can achieve more because work is more transparent and visible. Collaboration tools are built in, with advanced views that can show the bigger picture as well as details. Reporting features are limited, however, just like in Trello. In Trello, you may have to use a Power-up or integrate it with another application to satisfy your reporting needs.

Bridge24, with its interactive charts and advanced reporting, fills in this feature gap. Charts can present information in a compact summary that the brain can easily understand. For example, tasks across projects displayed in charts provide an overview as well as other information at a glance. The interactive interface allows you to drill down for more details, which can provide insight.

Bridge24 Charts for Asana

Bridge24 enables Asana users to view a project easily, filter their tasks and generate an interactive chart. You can generate popular charts automatically, like tasks by project, assignee, status type, section, tag, completed by week, created by week, overdue, soon due, and more. You can also include tasks with ‘Completed’ status. Chart types supporter are pie chart, doughnut, polar, horizontal bar, and vertical bar.

Below is an example of a pie chart with 38 Asana tasks filtered on 2 projects. It is easy to switch one type of chart to another with a dropdown menu (A). Users can drag the position of the chart by clicking the Move icon to place the chart in a different area of the screen (B). They can easily hide the chart (C), and display it again (D). Sliders allow the control of the size and number of columns of the chart (E). Displaying or hiding the legend is simple (F), as well as exporting the chart in PDF format (G).

You can click on any segment in the chart, and it will display the task list represented by that segment. From this task list, drill down and open any task for viewing or updating. Furthermore, stacking options are available for the charts. You can stack or display 2 variables in the same chart. This is useful, for example, when displaying all tasks in a project, and also displaying them by Tag or Assignee. Thus, you can group information displayed, and also correlate 2 values at the same time. You can sort also how data is displayed in the chart.

Trello uses a user-friendly visual system of boards, columns, and cards. Creating an interactive report, however, is not simple. Bridge24’s interactive charts addresses this deficiency. You can generate chart types by board, member, status type, list, label color, label name, and created by week, and more. Pie chart, doughnut, polar, horizontal bar and vertical bar chart types are supported. The charts can be created based on the cards displayed from a board or a filter result. You can even include cards with ‘Archived’ status.

Below is an example of a vertical bar chart displaying all 1624 cards from all boards. Users can switch from one type of chart to another with a dropdown menu (A). The chart can be dragged into a different position by clicking on the Move icon and dragging (B). Users can hide and display the chart quickly (C & D). The size of the chart and number of columns can be controlled with a slider. An icon to display/hide the legend, and to quickly export the chart in PDF format is available at the lower right portion (F & G).
